What's on at
SAM?
Well, usually quite a lot - it all depends when you come
along to join!
Our syllabus contains a brief run-down of what's coming at
SAM. But there's so much more happening than just the meetings.
During the Summer break, the committee have been busy planning the Syllabus. At SAM, we're fortunate enough that we are able to attract some of the more well-known amateur
film-makers. This year is no exception!
On Sunday 7th December we're very pleased to welcome Michael Slowe followed by a visit by Philip Martin on Sunday
1st March. As most members know - these meetings are not to be missed!
Then there's the other events - eg. Workshop Weekend - well worth the membership fee alone!
Here at SAM, we hope you'll find out so much more than just what the manual for your camcorder has to
offer!
Making films is a fascinating hobby and we aim to make the most of it by bringing the best amatuer films and
film-makers to the club to view and be entertained by - as well as the knowledge that's been built up over the years - you too can make films that your friends and family will
watch again and again!
You don't have to be an expert to join SAM - just the enthuasism to join in.- You don't even need a camcorder at
first. If you only want to find out what it's all about - come along and find out!
So, if this sounds like it makes you want to be involved - please get in touch, come along to any of the meetings
or drop us an email for more details.
