How good that SAM is back on
the internet with a re-branded, shiny new web-site.
The content includes tribute to our history. This year we will celebrate in
style our 60th anniversary.
Plans are afoot for a Celebration Event to be held in the Stirling Management
Centre ( a terrific venue!)
on November 7th, with all sorts of film-related activities - watch this
web-site for more details as they
are firmed up.
Then of course there’s SAM today. The web-site
makes clear the range of activity, the commitment
and the energy which ensure that it thrives. SAM
is its members - clubs and individuals in Scotland
(and Carlisle!) coming together to achieve more than
can be done separately - learning together, friendship and enjoyment. If you'd like to join SAM too, just get in touch with the Secretary, or come along to a meeting to
"try it out". Either way I can guarantee that you'll be made very welcome.
The future for film-making, and everything else for
that matter, will be increasingly linked into the web.
So we need this site. It is SAM’s show-case for
anyone, anywhere, who dips in. If you are 'visiting' usfrom further afield, welcome to the 'Scottish Association of Moviemakers'. We hope
you will return to our site.
