It’s that time of year again when entries are invited for the IAC’s
premiere competition!
It would really help me if you could get your films in well before Christmas,
please, if they are ready!
· It’s the most prestigious amateur movie competition in the UK.
· The
judges may give films 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Star Awards, or IAC Diamonds, thus recognising every level of film-making attainment. For the top films there are also trophies, sponsors’
prizes and, of course, the Daily Mail Challenge Trophy for the Best Amateur Film of the Year.
· Written
appraisals are provided for every film.
· A large
number of the entries will be shown at the British International Amateur Film Festival in Chesterfield next April.
· This is
your chance to have work shown at a major film event.
Entry forms for the competition and booking forms for the festival are in this
month’s Film & Video Maker. The official closing date is 31st January. However, DON’T DELAY!
Please pass this message to all your fellow club members.
Thank-you and Good Luck!
